Our Itinerary as below :
In the early morning 6.30am, we will assemble at Textile Centre #01-09 & travel via 2nd Link Tuas Checkpoint (集合). At 8.00am, we will take Dim Sum as our breakfast. Dim sum(点心) is a style of Cantonese cuisine prepared as small bite-sized portions of food traditionally served in small steamer baskets or on small plates. Dim sum is also well known for the unique way it is served in some restaurants, whereby fully cooked and ready-to-serve dim sum dishes are carted around the restaurant for customers to choose their orders while seated at their tables.
After that we will head to Yong Peng Wansern Organic and Eco Farm(萬盛有機生態農場). The organic farm with 7 acres will bring you to the natural environment of organic farming. Plus, it allows you to experience and get closer to the habitat and behaviour of swiftlets.
After visited the farm, we will take tradisional Foochow / Fuzhou(福州) cuisine as lunch. Fuzhou cuisine well known specialties include ang zhao mee sua (红槽面线), and kompyang or kompia (光餅).
Our next destination will be Foochow noodles factory(福州面工厂). We will obvious the whole process of how they make the Foochow noodles and get to try different types of noodles.
Then, we head to Yoyo Local Product Shop(Yoyo 土产店). They provide healthy drinks, biscuit series, seasoning series and drink series etc. You can purchase some local products as souvenir for your friends and family.
After took lunch and pay a visit. What’s next? We will be having tea break at Sweet Potatoes Farm(下甘榜午茶) whereby specializes in the growing of sweet potatoes, tapioca and yam.
About 4.30pm, it’s shopping time! We will stop by at Jusco Shopping Mall(佳士客购物中心) for customers to shop more.
Last but not least, sumptuous dinner will be taken at local Chinese restaurant at 6.00pm. Enjoy the last meal before head back to Singapore.
When the clock strikes 7.00pm, we will head back to our home sweet home – Singapore.
